This CAT6A plug is designed for creating high performance patch cables in 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications where high density routers and switches are used. It meets CAT6A performance requirements per ANSI/TIA-568-B.2-10 and features robust shield termination and strain relief, allowing for a one-step termination process. An optional slimline boot with integrated strain relief and latch protection is also available. The plug is made with UL 94-V0 plastic components and a transparent housing for easy conductor alignment. It has 8 pins and 8 conductors (8p8c) with 50 micro-inch gold plated contacts and fits 26-22 AWG cable with a jacket OD of under 8.0 mm. The plug also features copper alloy shielding, is RoHS compliant, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C. It fits an insulation diameter of 1.35mm – 1.45mm.
