“The Raspberry Pi Pico W is an upgraded version of the Pico microcontroller board, now featuring built-in WiFi capabilities. It incorporates the Infineon CYW43439 wireless chip, supporting IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.2. The Pico W offers the same cost-effective and high-performance attributes as the Raspberry Pi Pico, utilizing the RP2040 microcontroller designed in-house by Raspberry Pi. With flexible digital interfaces and minimal external circuitry, the Pico W is a versatile and powerful solution for various projects. Its on-board buck-boost SMPS allows easy power generation from a wide range of input voltages, providing ample flexibility in powering the unit. Reprogramming the flash memory is straightforward using USB or the Serial Wire Debug (SWD) port for debugging. The Pico can be used with soldered pin-headers or as a surface mountable “”module,”” adding to its adaptability for different applications.
