This is a red Polyolefin heat shrink tubing manufactured by 3M with a 2:1 shrink ratio and a 48-inch (1.22 meter) overall length. It has an expanded inner diameter of 0.75 inches (19.05mm) and a recovered inner diameter of 0.375 inches (9.52mm) after shrinkage. The tubing is designed for use in applications requiring a flame-retardant and non-corrosive material. It has a maximum operating temperature of 135°C (275°F) and can withstand temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) for short periods of time. The tubing is UL recognized, CSA certified, ABS, and AMS 3636 & 3637 approved, and meets the requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1. It has an elongation of 400% and a tensile strength of 2400 pounds-force per square inch. This tubing is suitable for use in access networks, long-haul/metro loop networks, wireless network infrastructure accessories, and xDSL applications.
